Monday Giveaway: Prismera Design

Laura Su created Prismera Design to "carve a place for myself in the world. A place to design, to dream and to do good. The motivating force that was behind Prismera Design might have been grand but simply put, this girl just wants to create beautiful things." And with her pretty line of nature-inspired jewelry, eco-friendly stationery and her colorful new fashion illustration prints, I'd say she's doing quite well don't you think? Here's what else Laura had to say:

What an interesting company name! How did you come up with it?

Thank you! Prismera is the combination of prism and chimera; the idea behind it was that the company would be a prism, a medium to take my dreams and ideas and send them out into the world.

From where do you draw (no pun, intended) your inspiration?

I think there's a great deal of inspiration that comes from observing the natural grace of living things. We live in an amazing world, filled with color and motion.

If you could do anything in the world right now, what would it be?

Going antiquing with my best friend. We both have a love for the stories behind things and we are constantly bugging each other while we're browsing, sharing our found treasures. He likes old photos and postcards and I'm always looking at crusty old objects.

What's the first thing you think of when you hear the following words? And no cheating/thinking!

Fashion: Fun
Red: Shoes
Nature: Peace
Happy: Yellow
Yellow: Summer
Love: Flowers
New York: Home
